The crane is also required to lift the toothbrush into the splitting canal or to quickly turn pieces of wood in the canal. Manual loading of the SpaltFast is not possible or not permitted for safety reasons. What is the hourly output of the SpaltFast?: It depends heavily on the qualifications of the crane operator and the quality of the wood. 6-12 star/h are realistic What happens with knotty wood?: In general, with every log splitter, the poorer the quality that you split, the "worse" the log will be. It is important that the trees are pruned very close to the trunk, otherwise splitting is much more difficult, since the stubs of the branches hold the trunk together at this point. Due to the floating storage, we can stay in the fiber flow much better and thus achieve better wood quality than with a fixed knife or a fixed star. The more knotty the pieces of wood are, the more often the splitting knife unit has to be cleaned. We recommend using heavily knotty material for the shredder. With the SpaltFast you can, for example, split off knot-free areas of large trunks and the rest can be chopped up. How much slatting is produced?: Depending on the wood quality, more or less slatting is produced. We have tried to generate little spreading wood, but more is created than with a classic splitter. From a business point of view, we are convinced that the additional spacer will be compensated by the time advantage, especially since spacer is still suitable for chopping or kindling.
